Our Irish Penal Pocket Rosary is a very convenient and easy to carry straight line single decade rosary. It is fashioned like the Penal Rosaries used in Ireland prior to the 1700s when the church was being persecuted. It was easily hidden up a sleeve or in clothing.

To use this rosary, the ring is placed on the thumb and moved to each finger each time a decade of the rosary is prayed until completion of all 5 decades. The crucifix on this rosary is an Irish design full of symbolism on both the front and back such as the crown of thorns, the ladder used to remove Christ from the cross, the spear, the 5 wounds, and the chalice from the last supper.

By the way, a kind customer, Luigi, suggests that the bottom symbol represents the SPONGE that was soaked with soar wine hyssop and given to Our Lord Jesus, before he breathed his last

Love the durability!

I really like having a pocket rosary with my keys, I just pray a lot more rosaries when I can have it with me everywhere. However, that’s rough on a rosary and they’d often break, this pocket rosary is so so much sturdier than others I’d bought. I love having it on hikes and busy days of running errands. I’d love to see more versions of the decade rosary from this company too

This is not my first rosary

All my acquisitions in the last few years in my 50’s were from your company. Why? I will tell you…they are extremely well made will stand up to the test of time and most assuredly will out live me. With that said I purchased and am presently reviewing the Irish Penal Rosary. This will be used quite often when I’m at work snow plowing in winter…..this is just a great product.

Perfect for EDC - Every day Carry

Rugged, beautiful, and inspired

I am an active walker and jogger. This rosary is perfect for outdoor prayer. The beads are large, the construction is solid, and the rosary is beautiful. It replaces a similar rosary I bought from RR years ago but lost through my fault. I also like to gift these rosaries to active Catholic friends of mine.

A great rugged pocket Rosary! There is zero fear that this will bust while it is in my pocket, backpack, or anywhere else. The ring is really great to keep track on what decade you are on as well. I asked to have the crucifix and color scheme changed to match more of the Gentleman's Rosary and they obliged. Such an awesome company with awesome products!

Fantastic Rosary

The Irish Penal Pocket Rosary arrived exactly as described. Beautiful and very useful. I keep it in my briefcase to use when I have a moment. Cannot recommend highly enough. Since I have purchased the Our Lady of Guadalupe Rosary, amazing as well. This is the only place to buy a quality Rosary for a fair price.
