The cross is an ancient Catholic design from 6th century Ireland. It is designed after a large stone cross at the site of the Glendalough Monastery, founded in the late 6th century by Catholic monk St. Kevin and his brotherhood. It shows on both side, the symbols of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Chalice of the Eucharist.

This is my first Rosary of many I've purchased from Rugged Rosary that doesn't have the Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) on the Cross. Instead there's a Celtic Cross which is mirrored on both sides of the Cross. There's a Euchariatic Chalice at the bottom of the Cross and the dove of the Holy Ghost and the dove of Noah's Ark in the middle. The Celtic Cross is good and heavy. I added a Miraculous Medal of Mary that I already had but the gold chain keeps breaking. That doesn't happen with Rugged Rosaries' paracord.
If you are Irish, you are going to love this stunning Rosary. The cross is heavy. The Rosary is very wearable. The beads are a beautiful green. If you have larger fingers this Rosary is perfect. I have gotten a lot of compliments while wearing it. This Rosary as with all is a great tool to add to your prayer life. I will buy several more as gifts.

Absolutely stunning rosary and just as rugged as their name suggests! Just be aware, as others have pointed out, it is quite large and the Celtic cross is substantial, but as a large guy with big hands it’s exactly what I was looking for!

It’s soo hard to find a smaller Paracord rosary. This one is too large. Well made but I wish they made them smaller. Quality is great so if you like large rosary’s buy this one! I really wish they made Jesus prayer beads as well. Maybe one day they’ll make them smaller and offer Jesus prayer beads too.

No problem with fulfilling my request to extend the chord to 30 inches. The green beads are great and the Irish cross is really nice. I added the Five-way devotional and sacred heart medals. It already had St. Patrick and St. Bridget on the reverse. The chord is very resilient and will last a lifetime. Highly recommend if you like a St. Patrick theme.

I’m a repeat customer, and once again, this rosary does not disappoint. It is perfect! It’s sturdy and the beads are a good size! There is enough spacing for your thumb in between the Hail Mary beads as you are sliding them along in prayer. The Our Father bead has a tight knot on each side to prevent sliding. I love the medals and the Celtic cross too. I definitely recommend if you have a devotion to St. Patrick, Money well spent.

Once your return is received and processed, we will send you an email to notify you that a refund has been applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Although we issue the refund immediately, it might take a few business days to appear on your credit card. Please note we cannot refund return shipping costs.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
We are also happy to exchange rosaries in new condition within a reasonable amount of time. Please email us at support@ruggedrosaries.com if you wish to make an exchange. In your email, just tell us which rosary you would like instead. We can send you the new rosary, along with a prepaid return label to make it simple to return the original rosary.
If you purchased a similar product from another company such as a paracord rosary, or a WWI style combat rosary, and for whatever reason, you have a problem with it - We will take care of you! Maybe the other company doesn't have good customer service or maybe you bought a cheaper imported mass-produced copy (see about them here).
