The 33 bead Anglican Episcopal Rosary was conceived in the mid-1980s by Reverend Lynn Bauman through the inspirations from a contemplative prayer group. The design incorporates several elements from both the Orthodox Chotki or prayer rope and the Catholic Rosary.
The 33 beads represent the 33 years which Jesus spent on this earth as a man. There are 4 groups of 7 beads called "weeks". In between each "week" is a "Cruciform" bead. The intersection of these four beads forms a cross.
Our version is very strong thanks to the paracord and an excellent size which makes it easy to carry with you.

I first heard about the Anglican rosary from an Anglican content creator. I initially bought a cheap one off of Amazon, along with Mons. Dr. F. Haas' "The Anglican Rosary Prayer Book" for guidance on how to use it. Unfortunately for me, I got what I paid for with the cheap one. I'd seen Rugged Rosaries pop up online somewhat frequently, so I decided to to take the plunge. This Anglican rosary is money well spent. I haven't tried to carry it in my pocket yet, but I'm sure that it will fit well.

Since it's my first paracord rosary, I had no idea what the size would be like, but it's way bigger than I expected! It's probably even larger than any five-decade Catholic rosary I have.

Coming from a traditional Protestant denomination, I have found this a is a great addition to my prayer life. When my mind is racing and it’s hard to focus, the repetition helps ground me. It’s also fun learning the traditional prayers. I can also see this tool being a methodical way of memorizing scripture like the psalms.
In terms of construction, it’s very well made and is holding up being taken to work every day in my pocket where I typically use it during my morning break. Would definetely purchase again in different colors or for my kids if they show interest someday.

This is my first purchase from Rugged Rosaries and I have to say from the beads to the hammer forged cross, and to the detail on the first cruciform, give my Anglican Rosary the appearance that it is worth more than what I paid for it. Once your return is received and processed, we will send you an email to notify you that a refund has been applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Although we issue the refund immediately, it might take a few business days to appear on your credit card. Please note we cannot refund return shipping costs.

In your email, just tell us which rosary you would like instead. We can send you the new rosary, along with a prepaid return label to make it simple to return the original rosary.
If you purchased a similar product from another company such as a paracord rosary, or a WWI style combat rosary, and for whatever reason, you have a problem with it - We will take care of you! Maybe the other company doesn't have good customer service or maybe you bought a cheaper imported mass-produced copy (see about them here).
