In Christian tradition, the Jujube tree was identified as the thorn bush used to weave Christ's Crown of Thorns. Based on this tradition, Christian Pilgrims to the Holy Land would take branches of this tree home as souvenirs. The wood is heavy and durable and serves for artistic woodwork.
These are well made, quality, durable rosaries with a beautiful design made of superior jujube wood - Beautifully made in S. Korea - You will see and feel the quality and care. With a cross shaped Our Father bead, you never have to look to feel your way through the rosary.
Note that we cannot resize or customize this rosary other than adding your favorite Saint medals. We recommend no more than 4 medals.

I was looking for a simple corded, all wooden Rosary that I would be able to fall asleep with and keep with me and not worry about it breaking. This did not disappoint. This is not a thicker Paracord Rosary. But I like the proportions of this one for its intended purpose. The beads are very smooth, feel very dense and sturdy and they smell great. They are a good size and I love that there is a knot in between each of the Hail Mary beads. The Crucifix is very proportionate and has some rounded edges, which is very nice for my purposes, especially. The small our father crosses have some rounding as well, which is a detail that I noticed when I was looking at other peoples photos. I added my own blessed sterling silver Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Benedict medals. I had my beautiful rosary blessed after this Sunday mass..
I have the Three Hail Mary Paracord Rosary that I keep on my nightstand as well. It reminds me to start my day on my knees. I have a Seven Sorrows Chaplet on the way! I prefer these over any fancier chain link style Rosary.
I generally prefer my Rosaries to have traditional crucifixes with attractive ornamentation like the "Pardon Crucifix" or the "St. Benedicts Cross". I've owned multiple Rosaries over the past decade and have either lost or broken them within a year. This is not an especially attractive Rosary, but it is a traditional design...and fairly tough. It's smaller and lighter then the paracord Rosaries, but large enough that you won't lose it...and if you do it will be easy to find. The crucifix is thicker then it looks in the photos, and the beads are perfectly spaced for any sized fingers. The cord appears to be really strong and there is a pleasant amount of flex when you squeeze the beads.
I'm 6'4 and 260 pounds, so I really enjoy using a 'beefy manly" Rosary...and this fits the bill perfectly. It's also a great choice if you prefer wearing one around your neck. Initially not my style...but I love it!

Chunkier than I thought it'd be but really well crafted and beautiful!
I prefer the rosaries made with wood beads and cloth as they are not as easy to damage. This one feels sturdy, I anticipate perfect for daily carry and use though I have only had it for a few days.
Very, very pleased with my order. The rosary is of great quality and I can't wait to start praying on them. My first intention will be for the person that handmade mine.. I definitely will be a return shopper.

I got this rosary for my two sons (7 and 9) on their baptism date. We are converting to Catholicism from Protestantism and have found the rosary to be a wonderful family devotional. They are going to love the size and look of this rosary, and we are going to love its durability! The boys can be rough with things, but I don’t think they will be able to damage these!

I've looked for wooden prayer beads for quite some time, but the few I came across were always cheaply made. I love the quality of these throughout. Just two wishes if you ever redesign these...make the individual beads slightly bigger and more hefty and reconfigure the cross so that it is secured in a manner from the top and not the one side, in that as I wear these, the cross by attrition tilts to the one side instead of hanging straight down. Lastly the cord seems adequate, albeit I wonder if the everyday continuous usage will eventually cause a break. If the beads were slightly bigger then the cording could be slightly thicker. Bottom line is that these are a joyous blessing. I use each of the five areas/decades to concentrate on different aspects of prayer, aka 1) family&friends, 2) church family &pastoral staff, 3) world and community needs,4) my evangelism & the salvation of those in my everyday sphere of influence and lastly 5) Holy Spirit guidance and a realization of my desire to constantly please Jesus, putting a smile on His face by making His and the Fathers purpose my pleasure and their pleasure my purpose, while walking in the Great Commandment...via my putting my love of God first, my love of all others second and myself in whatever manner that helps make Romans 8:28 a daily reality in my life and that of my family. I was very pleased with the look, feel and size of the cross beam wooden rosary. They are not too big or too small, and have some weight and a feeling of quality when you hold them. I wasn't sure how I would feel about the wooden crucifix and center piece, but I like them. I just hope that the rosary cord will hold up over time. The rubber crucifix bracelet that was included was a nice touch!

I came to rugged rosary since I lost one of my finger rosaries. I keep one in my work truck, and also another for when I walk the dog. Anyhow, I was browsing at wooded rosaries since I like those better than my paracord. I came across this and had to have one. I truly appreciated that the crucifix was made of Jujube wood, which for me made this a bit more personal. It did not disappoint. Beads are smooth and light, cord seems strong but not stiff like paracord. I had my parish priest bless this and the finger rosaries. I am very happy with this
