As for the product itself it is exactly what I wanted. I requested the San Damiano crucifix and they were able to make that change for me. Also I requested devotional medals in specific locations including saints that aren’t on their website and they provide for me.

Something I was worried about with such a chunky rosary was that the beads may be pushed too close together. That is not the case here as there is plenty of room to feel you go from bead to bead during prayer. God Bless!

Hands down no comparison to every rosary. I've ever seen if you're a man and you work and you want something reliable and tough. This is definitely it. I am very hard on most things. I own, and this thing can take almost everything I can throw at it. It's not so strong that you can dunk it in oil or light. It on fire, but short of all those silly things. Is the toughest rosary ever hands down?The one thing I would like to see improved is the rings that hold on the silver medals.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend and I’m well pleased with it. It’s very handsome, and the particular Crucifix used is both striking and I believe durable. Some reviews have criticized the materials used for this rosary, but I do think one must bear in mind that it is meant to stand up to rough conditions. If you are looking for precious materials, this may not be for you. But if you want a handsome rosary you can take into the field, camping, or on pilgrimage, and not worry about, you really can’t do better.

I got it in little time. It is only my second rosary since I just started my journey into the Catholic Church but it's really great quality.

Love this rosary! We live near a Trappist monastery (Abbey of Gethsemani), so I got it blessed by a Trappist monk (Fr. Michael Casagram).

I like it very much. I got it time for the Blessed Trinity Sunday. Perfect knots. I'm trying to get more spacing between beads.

A wonderful companion. A constant reminder to pray your rosary, USE your rosary for praying not just a necklace. The materials are amazing and you know it'll last a lifetime. I feel this particular rosary gets me feeling much closer to the Holy Spirit. Rugged Rosaries will get my business before any other rosary makers, it's not even close!

I made a small modification to my Rosary and requested the Crucifix be replaced with the one on the Purgatory Ombre Rosary. Kate from Customer Care was fantastic to deal with and even aligned my medals in the order that I wanted. I"m really happy with the change, and love the appearance of traditional wooden/plastic beads with the black paracord.

I’ve never owned a “nice” Rosary before, the only ones I’ve ever had have been wooden beads and yarn.. I decided to go all out… this thing is AMAZING! I’m not even sure what I was expecting, but this is on a whole other level! I’m honestly so glad I went with RR! Materials and craftsmanship are top notch, and the design choice with the tigers eye beads and bronze crucifix and medallions looks so sharp together! …not to mention the medallion selection in bronze was fantastic and I was able to get all 4 that I was looking for! It’s not something that goes unnoticed, around your neck, in your hand or even just laying on the table… that being said, be aware it IS big and heavy, don’t get this if you’re wanting some little fashion necklace in the shape or a Rosary, this thing is beefy and too substantial to keep with you unless you mean it! I ordered a black leather zip case with it, but it’s SO big it’s kind of a struggle to get it inside and zipped up, so when I need to stow it away in my backpack Ive just been using the canvas drawstring bag that was included, and my other Beads get to live in the nice zipper pouch. I LOVE IT. I will definitely be ordering from RR again! Thank you guys, so much!

I recently received and started using my Trappist Rosary. It is beautiful, practical, and, of course—rugged. (My brother-in-law introduced me to Rugged Rosaries.) At the suggestion of a friend, my wife and I began praying the rosary together. We have found praying the Rosary very beautiful and very helpful in following Saint Paul’s advice to, “Rejoice always!”

I grew up near a Trappist monastery. I now live not too far from another Trappist monastery. I find Trappist spirituality very beautiful, powerful, and helpful in my quest to remain close to God.

My Trappist rosary, combining the Holy Rosary and Trappist spirituality, is just perfect.

Gave it as a gift to a cousin who said he prefers a black or a brown rosary. He got both with the new Tiger Eye Brown beads. He loves his Trappist Rosary. I added the 5-Way Scapular and Saint Benedict medals.

It is indeed beautiful to see, wonderful to touch, evocative for reflection; but the best part is that it brings you to focus without distraction upon praying. The physical matters are quickly left aside while praying. No distractions or worries about finding your way through the beads, or links breaking, or beads and cross smudging. It just gets out of the way, as any good tool gets out of the way while you use it as designed. And that's why I respect the design and workmanship so much. Thank you!

This is craftsmanship. My Rosary is beautiful and feels peaceful. I am happy with my Rosary. I collect Rosaries and religious icons and my Rugged Rosary is amongst the most beautiful ones I have ever come across. The price is worth it. Thank you for the care and artistry with which you made it.

I wanted a paracord rosary because I get tired of the links on regular rosaries hooking into one another in your pocket, regardless of whether it is in a pouch or not. I’m in love with the crucifix on this rosary, but I wish I could have handled one prior to purchase. It is quite large, but I’m keeping it for hiking, backpacking and outdoor retreats. I have added a photo of a “normal” sized rosary alongside the rugged rosary. It is definitely NOT pocket sized! But for seated meditation and prayer, it is nearly perfect.

I was looking for a rosary I could bring with me in my pocket and not worry about it breaking - then I found Rugged Rosaries and it was hard to choose between all the great selections but finally I chose the Trappist monk rosary because I loved the Tertium Millenium crucifix and the simplicity of it. I love how they arranged my medals - St Joseph and Mary together on one side and Sacred Heart of Jesus (w/ Guardian Angel) and Pio on the other. Don't know if they did that on purpose but it makes so much sense to put them together. Overall I highly recommend Rugged Rosaries for anyone wanting their own Rosary that will last no matter what. Beautiful!
