This version of the WWI Battle Beads was inspired by Private Flora Sandes. She was the only British woman to serve in uniform, in combat, as an enlisted soldier in World War One. 
This compact all metal rosary is rugged, functional, yet beautiful. It has a meaningful history, as the style is a replica of the service combat rosaries issued by the government to soldiers, sailors, and flying aces during WWI. Now with slightly larger Our Father beads, the WWI Battle Beads rosaries are the closest replica available to the vintage antique service combat rosaries from 1916!
The Our Father beads are slightly larger to aid in meditative prayer. You can feel where you are as you move through prayers and at 21" long, they are wearable but still bunch up small enough to carry in your pocket.
Although the WWI Battle Beads Rosary is rugged enough to carry in your pocket, we do include a small round container for portability and storage.
As with all Rugged Rosaries, you may add optional medals. We recommend only adding up to 4. Some of our photos show an optional medal attached.

The rosary itself is very good! I use mine very much and love it, it's 4 because my custom order I forgot to specify which st michael medal centre piece I wanted but I sent through email a photo of the medal wanted, it's my fault that the st michael centre piece is different than imagined but I did state to refer to.image in email, I truly love both rosaries and live rugged rosaries alot, God bless this wonderful company!
I absolutely LOVE this rosary. I wear it constantly (including accidentally to the gym today), it looks like jewelry and often do 6+ rosaries or chaplets a day on it; having a rosary on you 24/7 removes your excuses. Perfect for car rides. My only critique is that I wish the Byzantine cross was more substantial/weighty, feels and sounds kinda tin like, but still love the look. Once your return is received and processed, we will send you an email to notify you that a refund has been applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Although we issue the refund immediately, it might take a few business days to appear on your credit card. Please note we cannot refund return shipping costs.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
We are also happy to exchange rosaries in new condition within a reasonable amount of time. Please email us at support@ruggedrosaries.com if you wish to make an exchange. In your email, just tell us which rosary you would like instead. We can send you the new rosary, along with a prepaid return label to make it simple to return the original rosary.
If you purchased a similar product from another company such as a paracord rosary, or a WWI style combat rosary, and for whatever reason, you have a problem with it - We will take care of you! Maybe the other company doesn't have good customer service or maybe you bought a cheaper imported mass-produced copy (see about them here).
