The WWI Battle Beads are a historical design inspired by the pull-chain rosaries distributed to soldiers, sailors, and flying aces during WWI. Our thoughtful reproduction of the original vintage rosaries is a close duplication with the addition of the emblem of the Knights of Columbus. You can carry it proudly as your Spiritual Weapon!
These rosaries are quite strong, do not tangle, are small and portable, and very easy to carry in your pocket. The Rugged Rosaries' WWI design has slightly larger Our Father beads to aid your meditative prayer. You can feel where you are on the rosary without looking at it.

I've purchased 5 rosaries & another is on the way. I love every one of them! I chose this Bronze WWI Rosary for my oldest son. He was just a baby & too young when his grandpa passed to remember him, but since he was a little boy, he loved to hear all of his grandpa's war stories passed down through the years. He's his grandpa's namesake, so I know he'll appreciate their patron saints medals I had added on. I know this will be very special to him & I can't wait to give it to him this Christmas. This is my first WWI Battle Beads rosary and, honestly, I ordered it to see it for myself in person.
This is NOT like the pull chain on your ceiling fan. Same ball-chain construction technology, yes; but this thing is HEFTY. Very solid feel in the hand. Plenty of space between the beads so you don't have to pinch with your fingertips like some of the more delicate "fancy" rosaries.
I was expecting the pull-chain size beads and even thought it might fit in the mini ALTOIDS Mint tin I use as a rosary box for my jeans pocket. Boy was I surprised! This is plenty strong enough that I can wear it around my neck without worrying about the chain breaking. (Not so with the rosary it is replacing for everyday carry.) And long enough I can even slip it over my head without taking my glasses off.
Very pleased and would highly reccommend if you're looking for a strong "weapon of the faith" by your side at all times.

I bought this rosary for my Husband. It was a gift for our 5yr Wedding Anniversary. He instantly loved it! Not only because of the history behind it, but mostly for its design! I purchased 30 to hand out to those in my men's group that holds a Eucharistic Adoration once a month. I like the quality, the resistance to knotting up, the feel, and the manly look of these. I'd like it if they had bulk pricing, as I enjoy giving out quality Rosaries routinely.
Love the feel. What a fantastic value for the price. I was looking for an EDC Rosary that wasn't too flashy. Fits well in that tiny right jean pocket, so I don't have to worry about it getting tangled with the mess I always have on me. Feels very durable.

I got the Battle Beads rosary as a gift a while back and decided to get the Battle Beads in gunmetal black for my fiancé who is in the Army. We both love the WWI-WWII era and having these is a really neat way to connect to the faith and true meaning of service men fought with in that time. Great product and great history. Once your return is received and processed, we will send you an email to notify you that a refund has been applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Although we issue the refund immediately, it might take a few business days to appear on your credit card. Please note we cannot refund return shipping costs.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
We are also happy to exchange rosaries in new condition within a reasonable amount of time. Please email us at support@ruggedrosaries.com if you wish to make an exchange. In your email, just tell us which rosary you would like instead. We can send you the new rosary, along with a prepaid return label to make it simple to return the original rosary.
If you purchased a similar product from another company such as a paracord rosary, or a WWI style combat rosary, and for whatever reason, you have a problem with it - We will take care of you! Maybe the other company doesn't have good customer service or maybe you bought a cheaper imported mass-produced copy (see about them here).
