This rosary design is inspired by the Trappist Monks and Sisters that follow the teachings of St. Benedict. The Rule of St. Benedict, written in the sixth century, guides the lives of Trappists and describes the ideals and values of monastic life.

I am a person who prays the holy rosary every day, and it doesn't last long. This rosary has been the best rosary I have been able to buy so far.
Gave it as a gift to a cousin who said he prefers a black or a brown rosary. He got both with the new Tiger Eye Brown beads. He loves his Trappist Rosary. I added the 5-Way Scapular and Saint Benedict medals.
Great quality! I loved the hand made rosary complete with the beautiful crucifix! It would be nice if they were made a little smaller so that they were pocket sized. Either wise great durability!
It is indeed beautiful to see, wonderful to touch, evocative for reflection; but the best part is that it brings you to focus without distraction upon praying. The physical matters are quickly left aside while praying. No distractions or worries about finding your way through the beads, or links breaking, or beads and cross smudging. It just gets out of the way, as any good tool gets out of the way while you use it as designed. And that's why I respect the design and workmanship so much. Thank you!
The rugged rosary received is, as usual, well contructed. The only reason why I give this review a 4 (it was between 3 and 4) is due to the fact that I had intended to ask for a different crucifix but the note did not make it with my order. This having been said, a pewter or brown alternative crucifix is not readily available. To order, one must be extra careful to make sure the note follows the order. Then again, I've probably bought 50-60 rosaries in the past. So.... I'm happy in general.
This is craftsmanship. My Rosary is beautiful and feels peaceful. I am happy with my Rosary. I collect Rosaries and religious icons and my Rugged Rosary is amongst the most beautiful ones I have ever come across. The price is worth it. Thank you for the care and artistry with which you made it.
My first purchase was the Black Monk Rosary that is on my bed for prayer at bed time. The second is the Soldiers Rosary which is also now blessed and sits next to my Easy Chair it has a Saint Michael The Arch Angel medal affixed to it. My last purchase is the Trappist Rosary also blessed like the other two and will be my travel rosary. All three are beautiful and the large beads help with arthritic or old hands.
I wanted a paracord rosary because I get tired of the links on regular rosaries hooking into one another in your pocket, regardless of whether it is in a pouch or not. I’m in love with the crucifix on this rosary, but I wish I could have handled one prior to purchase. It is quite large, but I’m keeping it for hiking, backpacking and outdoor retreats. I have added a photo of a “normal” sized rosary alongside the rugged rosary. It is definitely NOT pocket sized! But for seated meditation and prayer, it is nearly perfect.

Once your return is received and processed, we will send you an email to notify you that a refund has been applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Although we issue the refund immediately, it might take a few business days to appear on your credit card. Please note we cannot refund return shipping costs.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
We are also happy to exchange rosaries in new condition within a reasonable amount of time. Please email us at support@ruggedrosaries.com if you wish to make an exchange. In your email, just tell us which rosary you would like instead. We can send you the new rosary, along with a prepaid return label to make it simple to return the original rosary.
If you purchased a similar product from another company such as a paracord rosary, or a WWI style combat rosary, and for whatever reason, you have a problem with it - We will take care of you! Maybe the other company doesn't have good customer service or maybe you bought a cheaper imported mass-produced copy (see about them here).
